The Vision
This dining room exemplifies how lighting can transcend function to become the defining artistic statement of a space. The soaring ceiling height provided the perfect canvas for a cascading installation of Hubbardton Forge glass spheres—each hand-blown orb suspended at carefully calculated heights to create a sculptural constellation above the table. The smoked glass catches and diffuses light in mesmerizing ways, casting soft ambient glow while serving as a conversation-starting focal point.
Complementing the dramatic chandelier, sleek Eurofase dual-bulb sconces flank the windows, adding vertical dimension and highlighting the room's architectural lines. The recessed tray ceiling creates depth and frames the pendant installation, while motorized Hunter Douglas window treatments provide seamless control over the abundant natural light flooding through the oversized windows. Every lighting element was positioned to work in harmony—from intimate dinner settings to bright, festive gatherings.
Design & Installation
This dining room's dramatic lighting was realized through our Integrated Luxury design package, where the ceiling height and architectural features demanded meticulous planning. Our designers worked closely on suspension lengths, fixture scale relative to the table, and the interplay between the statement chandelier and accent sconces. Through detailed specifications, fixture elevations showing exact placement of each glass sphere, and on-site coordination during installation, we ensured this sculptural lighting concept translated perfectly from vision to reality—creating a dining experience elevated by artful illumination.
